RunAsDate - Use Trial Software After trial PeriodRunAsDate is a small software that allows you to run any software in a specific date and time. This software does not change the system date or time of your computer. It only changes the date/time of the application that you select. You can run multiple applications at a time simultaneously with different date and time for every application.

You can use this software to run trial software like Microsoft Office etc. after the trial period is over.


RunAsDate is a completely free software. You can download the latest version from its official site. There is also a 64 Bit version of this software available. So if you are using 64 bit windows then download the 64 bit version.

  1. After downloading the software from above download link you will get a Zip file of this software. Extract the file to any path you want and Run the file RunAsDate.exe. RunAsDate doesn't require any installation or additional DLL Files.
  2. Double click the .exe file and you will see a Dialog box. (See Image)

  3. Click on browse button and browse to the application that you want to run on a specific date.
  4. Select the date and time that you want.
    NOTE: It is better to choose the last date of trial in this field to avoid any errors.
  5. Leave the Parameter section blank and click on Run. And your software will run.
    NOTE: Parameter section is for advance users.
  • This software also have a limitation. This software can't run a software that loads the date and time from remote servers.

    1. @John we are sorry to say that it will not work for IDM because IDM uses internet services to detect date and time and does not use system date.
